After over 4 months of planning, we conceptualised everything from cross-category POS to experiential in-store magical creature treasure hunts; A plethora of ideas, which we designed, produced and despatched.

Pre-launch interest was generated with a ‘tear-off’ countdown standee, which was a front-of-store highlight across the UK.

Inspired by both Fantastic Beasts, and the Harry Potter franchises alike, cross-category POS was also a key feature of the campaign. Taking inspiration from the film itself, Newt Scamander’s suitcase of magical creatures seemed the perfect platform to merchandise films, toys and books alike, for an extraordinary standout piece in Sainsbury’s stores.
