For the home entertainment release of the smash hit Suicide Squad, Warner Bros asked us to create a point of sale suite that was flexible enough to work across multiple retailers
To raise the profile and drive sales of the film in specialist and grocery retailers, we looked at ways we could bring to life the film and create standout instore. We explored different creative routes using the key and character art across standard and innovative units, while still including key retailer branding, exclusives and working collaboratively with FOX Studios to incorporate the launch of ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ in Morrison’s stores.
We successfully delivered over 16 units to multiple merchandisers and stores across 9 retailers in the UK & Ireland ahead of the 5th December 2016 launch date. We also activated the campaign digitally via web banners for online retailers. The EST and physical release of Suicide Squad performed significantly over target in its first week, performing at 56% over the targeted sales plan on day 3 alone.
